Isaiah Rashad Discusses Alleged Sex Tape Leak In New Interview With Joe Budden: ‘I’m Sexually Fluid’

During a new interview with Joe Budden, the TDE rapper discussed his alleged leaked sex tape in which he was seen performing sexual acts with other men.

The video, which went viral on social media in February, elicited a wide range of reactions. Some users reacted with hateful, homophobic remarks, while others expressed support for the 31-year-old rapper, who had yet to confirm his sexual orientation.

“When all of the chaos broke, and I saw the news and the headlines, my first thing as a journalist was, I’m gonna watch that interview when it happens,” Budden told Rashad. “I wonder who the hell’s gonna have to go with that … And it’s me.”

Budden then pressed the Tennessee native on his sexual orientation, “How do you identify?” Budden directly asked.

“I’d say I’m sexually fluid,” Rashad said before Budden asked him to explain. “I’m still learning about it myself. I’m putting my head in the books to find out the basics of it but basically, I’m not in full control of when I walk into a room who I’m attracted to.”

“I’m more attracted to a personality. I’m more attracted, sometimes, to intellect. Sometimes, it be just attracted to somebody,” he added.

Rashad also revealed in the interview that he is currently monogamous, which puzzled Joe. Despite the fact that he has only recently begun to discover himself, he stated that his partner has been extremely supportive of him.

“I’m not just going out and doing whatever. I have an understanding of myself that, you know, to not expect anything out of myself as far as an attraction. If I end up getting close to somebody, I might end up attracted to them,” he said.

Rashad previously addressed the sex tape in a roundabout way during his Coachella performance last month. He began his set with a video of hip-hop figures such as Joe Budden, The Game, and Akademiks discussing the explicit video.

“The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, it backfired. When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now,” a narrator said.

While on stage, he expressed gratitude to all the fans who supported him in wake of the leak.

“I see all the messages and all that shit, all the positivity,” he told the Coachella crowd. “Y’all n***s done kept me alive these last couple months.”
