June 20, 2017, Albert Johnson, aka Prodigy, died in Las Vegas, Nevada with no official cause of death known. Initially, it was presumed his death was from sickle-cell anemia; which he had suffered from his entire life. However, it was revealed in August that he died choking on an egg at a hospital in Las Vegas.
